Our process is straightforward, personal, and guided by one question: Is Maranatha the right school for your child? We believe the right families find the right school when both sides take the time to truly get to know each other.

Start here
Create an account in the FACTS admissions portal and complete your online application and submit the required documents for your student. A non-refundable $75 application fee is due at submission.
We want to set your student up well.
If your student hasn't taken the NWEA MAP Assessment in the past school year, we'll invite them to campus for an abbreviated version through our Learning Support Services Center.
Results are shared with parents within 48 hours.MAP scores, combined with school records, are reviewed by our Academic Team before moving to the interview stage. This step ensures we can genuinely serve your child from day one.
Getting to know each other.
Once your application is complete and all documents are received, your student will meet with the Principal for their respective grade. At Maranatha, community is everything and the interview is simply the first conversation in what we hope will be a long relationship. Offers of admission are based on class availability and student fit.
Welcome to the family.
When you receive your acceptance, you'll complete our online enrollment packet. Once signed and submitted with a $500 non-refundable deposit that is applied directly toward tuition, your student's place in the class is secured.

We believe this partnership runs deeper than an enrollment contract. When a family chooses Maranatha, we're entering a shared commitment to the same mission, the same values, and the same vision for your student's formation. The following criteria reflect the foundations we build on together.
At least one parent must be a committed follower of Jesus Christ and actively involved in a Christ-centered church. For students in grades 5–12, we ask the same of them. We ask that every family align with our Faith Statement and that students come willing to participate and open to spiritual growth. Faith isn't a box to check—it's the foundation of everything we do here. Learn more about what parent partnership looks like.
A student's academic history should demonstrate consistent progress and the capacity to succeed in our learning environment. Transfer students will provide report cards, transcripts, and any relevant learning plans. Students with active IEPs or 504 Plans are evaluated individually to determine whether our program can meet their specific needs. We approach these conversations with honesty and care.
Maranatha is not just a school — it's a community where every student and family contributes to the culture we share. We seek families who come ready to be positive, engaged, and contributing members of that community. Students must be in good standing at their current school, and their behavior both in and out of school should reflect Maranatha's values and Culture in Action. Students with prior conduct infractions must have completed a full school year with no behavior incidents. Maranatha does not accept students who have been expelled from other schools within the past year.
We expect all families admitted to Maranatha to maintain current financial obligations to MCA and to have met all obligations to any previous school. Families with unresolved disputes or outstanding commitments to a previous school will be reviewed individually before an application is processed.
Our team is committed to walking you through the admissions process, start to finish. Every application receives a thorough, personal review by our admissions committee. Here's what each outcome means:
Your family meets all MCA admissions criteria, and space is available in your student's grade. You'll receive an acceptance email from our Admissions Director and a warm welcome to the Maranatha community.
Your student qualifies, but space in the requested grade is not currently available. You'll be contacted directly when an opening occurs. Families in the wait pool have 5 business days to confirm placement after being contacted.
If information surfaces during the process that indicates our criteria aren't yet met, we'll pause and notify you directly out of respect for your family's time and ours. You're welcome to reapply when the criteria are met.
