Transfer Students

When your family is switching schools, you likely have a long list of questions.

Will my child fit it? Will they make friends quickly? Will they be on target academically? Are there opportunities for them to explore their passions?

Welcome to Maranatha

We’re here to answer your questions and make the transition as easy as possible.

Maranatha Christian Academy welcomes transfer students, including mid-year transfers and international students, each school year.

  • Caring teachers that check-in often
  • Buddy system so no student walks alone
  • Parent with Purpose group to help families and students feel welcome and connected
  • International student orientation and social events
  • Small groups (Character Hour and D-Groups) for Middle and High school students
  • Monthly Middle School and High School Mustang Rallys

Relocating is one of the biggest transitions a family faces and choosing the right school is often the first decision that shapes whether a new city starts to feel like home. We want you to find more than a school. We want you to find a community.

A Convenient Location

A convenient West Metro location for local and relocating families.

Families throughout the northwest Twin Cities metro choose Maranatha Christian Academy. Our campus sits at the heart of one of the most accessible and livable corridors in the greater Minneapolis area.

Our campus is easy to reach from I-694, Hwy 169, and I-94 — three of the metro's main northwest arteries - and is just minutes from Maple Grove, Osseo, Plymouth, Rogers, Dayton, Champlin, Anoka, and Wayzata. Once you arrive, you'll find a full PreK–12 campus that means your family won't be splitting school runs between different schools across different parts of the city.

Future Opportunities

The Twin Cities is home to a remarkable concentration of Fortune 500 companies—Target, Best Buy, General Mills, UnitedHealth Group, Ecolab, and U.S. Bancorp among them—representing industries from retail and technology to finance and consumer goods. Stretching south from Minneapolis to Rochester lies Medical Device Alley, one of the most concentrated corridors of medical innovation, anchored by Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Abbott, and globally renowned Mayo Clinic.
