College & Career Planning

Resources and timelines from our academic counseling department.

MCA's College and Career Counseling Department helps students discern God's call through a deeper understanding of their identity in Christ, their strengths, and their gifts. Every student is paired with a counselor who guides them through academic planning and post-graduation pathways — whether college, missions, the military, or a direct career path.

AP Courses

Maranatha offers 12 on-site and 6 online Advanced Placement courses for sophomores, juniors, and seniors. AP courses follow a college-level curriculum monitored by the College Board, and most colleges accept a score of 3 or higher for credit and placement.

Associate of Arts Degree

MCA was the first school to partner with Bethel University, bringing professors on campus so students can earn a complete Associate of Arts degree (60 credits) without leaving high school. Students graduate with both their MCA diploma and an AA from Bethel — potentially saving two years of college tuition and time.
